Fun with food artFor many toddlers, eating can be something of a bore. Busy with playing, learning, and generally having a good time, they’re often reluctant to leave all that fun for the radium of the table.

But most will be more willing to sit down for a meal if it’s fun, too. So give joy and merriment on his dish, or perhaps dare to create some merry meals of your own.Shape up. Many parents know that shaping food amuse toddler much more than regular, so try to cut, fill, shape, fashion, and decorate your toddler food with colorful, nutritious, and varieties kinds of meal. Let loose the artist in you – and in your toddler – as you create master pieces that good enough to eat.

Think mini. Bite-size is just the right size for the little fists, mouths and appetites. Don’t push your toddler to eat – or swallow, another bite when his mouth is full.

Sauce and Dip. While some toddlers prefer their food plain, others like everything sauced and dipped. Many latch onto one particular sauce or dip, and want everything they eat coated with it.

Grate great food. For the toddler who is too young to safely chew a carrot, serve a hill of grated carrot. As for young toddlers, grate finely to eliminate a risk of gagging.

Name the food. please you toddler to be more tempted by serving a “house of salad”, “Eggie Cheezee Dip”, “Egg in a Hole”, “Pasta Volcanoes”, “Pool of Corny Soup”, etc.

Let your toddler join the fun. Eating food is always more fun when you’ve had a hand in the preparation. Toddlers are often more willing to try new and different foods when they’ve helped “cook” them.
