Making resolution for children can be fun and enjoyable for them. Starting with making resolution craft, such as pictures, frames, and other crafts. And play a little game and activity so that they can feel its function, give easy “reward and punishment” for them to judge their effort so far. The most importantly for teaching them about having resolution is not making them desperate and give up easily, make the resolution as easy as they could ever thought.
Reward Chart
Resolution will always come with chart or list of their resolution. Try to make such chart with your children as a part of their activities, find pictures of the list that they would like mostly, such as photo of their own (i.e the kid’s picture when they are sleeping for the resolution of “I will sleep on time”). Then you create the pins to value their effort so far (i.e stickers, pins, labels, coins, your own crafts, etc). Here are some example ideas for you to make your children’s own chart. It can be hung, or put on the wall. or even more you can make the chart on every side of used box or can.
Reward Containers
As the rewards for every effort they make, we can stick or write something on the chart, but we can also make it a container for them to fill their rewards, the container can be made from used bottle, can, box or any container that has been decorated with your kids.
Reward Racing Chart
Instead of making table of resolution chart, we can also create reward racing activities. Especially if you have more than one child, you can put them in a race to see who’s the winner at the end of the month. Or make it as a race for individual task of your child’s list. Here are some ideas of the Reward Racing Chart
