La Murrina chose the work of Marco Piva to open its showroom in New York. From 29 November 2010 to January 6, 2011 the Big Apple will host ‘The halls of London to New York’, a tribute to the city’s design made in Italy, and La Murrina is a brand attending.
The Italian brand will have its own showroom just inside the event and the opening has a special event in Serbia. La Murrina has chosen a work of designer Marco Piva, Tattoo, to be presented at the opening of Italian Design Walking Street, coordinated project which includes the showroom of twenty important Italian companies already present in New York.
Tattoo is a hanging lamp in the traditional Murano glass creations characteristic of La Murrina. The lamp has been designed in two versions, with black spots that are white or white to contrast with the same details in black and combines the timeless charm of a Murano glass contemporary design and original.
